Is it possible to share television programs between two DVR's from different manufacturers? - possible

I have a DirecTV HD DVR in my living room. I also have a regular Series 2 TiVo DVR in my bedroom. I wonder if you can share programs between two DVR. I use home networks to connect to your TiVo DVR. DirecTV DVR will receive information on schedules directly from the satellite link, so I'm not even sure if it can be configured for home networking. Thank you!
